We can not accept Cash, please use your AT HOP Card or Paywave (EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard). Remember to scan the QR codes when boarding and please wear your face coverings while onboard and at the terminals.

Remember to scan the QR code on board the vessels and wear a face mask while at the wharves and on board the ferry.

 

Rakino Island Ferry

Regular services are operating as advertised.

We will not be able to accept cash, please pay using EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard. We will no longer be able to carry unaccompanied supplies

From Hobsonville Marina to Downtown return, 16 times a day Monday to Friday, this 30 minute trip is a great way to travel.

RAKINO FERRY: Friday 20th May Update

Due to the worsening weather forecast, tonight’s Rakino ferry service is cancelled. The next scheduled sailing is Sunday 22nd May as per the timetable.

RAKINO FERRY – TEMPORARY PIER CHANGE

Please be aware, until further notice all Rakino services will temporarily relocate to Pier 6 & 7. This is due to refurbishment around Pier 14 at the Downtown Ferry Terminal.

All scheduled morning and afternoon services will operate from Pier 6, and all evening services (6:50pm) will depart from Pier 7. It is a 4-5 minute walk from Pier 14 to Pier 6/7 so please allow additional time, and follow instructions from crew at Pier 6/7
